Staff

Dr. Jennifer Davis graduated from Colorado State University in 2009. After 10 years in private practice, she decided to focus on shelter medicine and joined Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter as the Spay/Neuter Program Director. She shares in our passion to provide assistance to as many families as possible to spay and neuter their pets in the Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding states. Dr. Davis also serves as the Staff Veterinarian for the Aspen Animal Shelter.

Emigdio “Pollo” Ramirez has worked at the Aspen Animal Shelter for the past eight years. He recently graduated as a veterinary technician from Colorado Mountain College with some financial sponsorship from our non-profit’s scholarship program. As part of his job description at the shelter, Emigdio also assists Dr. Davis in our surgical suite.
